Privacy Policy

Rummy KING is a free Indian Rummy (13 cards) game. This page explains what information the game uses. We keep it to the minimum the game needs to work. The game has no accounts, no adverts, no tracking cookies and no payments, and it never plays for real money.

What the game receives

• The name you type (a nickname is enough). Other players at your table see it.
• Your moves and table chat messages. They are used only to run your game and show the chat to the people at your table.
• Anonymous counts. We count how many visitors open the website each day and how many rooms and games are started. These are plain numbers. We do not store your IP address or name for this. To count a visitor only once per day, the server keeps a scrambled code (made from your IP address and browser type) in its memory for that day only, and then forgets it.
• Technical data your device sends automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. Our hosting provider (Render) records this in its server logs for security and to keep the service running.

If you contact us

The Contact page asks for your name, email address, country, city and message, and optionally your phone number and a file you attach (for example a screenshot; it is sent to us by email and is not kept on the website). We use them only to read and answer your message. We do not use them for adverts and we do not share them. You can ask us to delete your message at any time (see "Your choices" below).

How long it is kept

A table (room) exists only in the server's memory while people play. It is deleted automatically after a few hours without activity, or when the server restarts. We do not store tables, names or chat messages in a database. Hosting logs are kept by Render under its own policy. Messages sent through the Contact page are kept only as long as needed to answer them.

What is stored on your device

• Your language choice and your sound on/off choice.
• A session code so you can return to your table after a refresh.

These stay in your browser or app. You can remove them at any time by clearing the site data.

Voice chat

The voice button opens a voice room on Jitsi Meet (meet.jit.si), a separate service run by another company. If you use it, Jitsi's own privacy policy applies. Rummy KING does not record or receive your voice.

The Android app

The Rummy KING Android app shows this same website inside the app, so everything on this page applies to it too. The app asks for the microphone permission only when you tap the voice button, so that you can talk to the other players in the Jitsi voice room. You can say no, and the rest of the game works without it. Rummy KING does not record your voice or store it. The app also needs an internet connection to play, because the tables run on our server. It does not read your contacts, location, photos or files.

Sharing

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers. The only parties involved are our hosting provider (Render), which runs the server, and Jitsi if you choose to use voice chat.

Children

The game is meant for adults aged 18 or older. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please do not type your real full name, phone number or address into the game name box or the chat.

Your choices

You can use any nickname, stop playing at any time, and clear the data stored on your device. To ask about information related to you, or to ask us to remove something, contact us:

Changes
