Rummy KING

About the game

Indian Rummy is a card game for 2 to 6 players. Each player gets 13 cards and tries to arrange them into valid groups. The first player to make a correct show wins the round. Everyone else counts the points left in their hand - the lowest total wins.

Groups

• Pure sequence: 3 or more cards in a row of the same suit, with no joker. You need at least one.
• Sequence: a row of the same suit that may use jokers. You need a second sequence.
• Set: 3 or 4 cards of the same rank in different suits.

How a turn works

• Draw a card from the closed deck or the open pile.
• Discard one card onto the open pile.
• When all 13 cards are in valid groups, declare.

Rummy Seven

A game of 7 rounds. Rounds 1 and 7 have no wild joker and count double. In rounds 2 to 6 the wild joker is secret: you may look at it only after showing a pure sequence to everyone. The lowest total after round 7 wins.

Points

• Winner 0. Ace, Jack, Queen, King = 10 each, other cards = their number, jokers = 0.
• Drop: you leave the round and your cards are counted at the end like everyone else's. There is no cap on points.
• A wrong show gives a penalty and you are out of the round.
